Dr. Durakovic was a professor at several universities in the United States, Canada, and Croatia, including Georgetown University, Washington DC; Oak Ridge Associated Universities, TN; the Canadian National Research Council, Ottawa; Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD; and the University of Zagreb, Croatia. In addition, he taught as a guest professor at universities in North and South America, Australia, Europe, Asia, Israel, South Africa, the Soviet Union, Japan, and the Middle and Far East. He gave invited lectures to the Royal Society and Department of Defense in London, U.K., both Houses of Parliament of Japan, and the U.S. Congress.
